1. Chill Your Glass:Begin by ensuring your highball glass is thoroughly chilled. You can do this by placing it in the freezer for about 15 minutes or filling it with ice and allowing it to sit while you prepare the other ingredients.
2. Gather Your Ingredients:Assemble all the necessary components: Coastal Stone: Xplore Whisky, ginger beer, honey cordial, Angostura bitters, and a lemon twist for garnish.
3. Prepare the Ice:Fill the chilled highball glass with ice cubes. The cold temperature and dilution from the ice will help meld the flavors of the drink.
4. Pour the Whisky:Measure 50 ml of Coastal Stone: Xplore Whisky using a jigger or measuring cup. Gently pour the whisky over the ice in the highball glass.
5. Add the Honey Cordial:Add 7 ml (approximately one and a half teaspoon) of honey cordial to the glass using a cocktail spoon. The honey cordial will impart a subtle sweetness that balances the drink's flavors.
