How we make our liqueurs

Manly Spirits Co. Distillery Liqueurs are infused, distilled and bottled by hand before being sent out into the world from our artisan distillery on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Allowing our distilling team to demonstrate their adventurous expertise, our Liqueurs are infusions with distilled sustainably foraged native botanicals and fresh fruits.

Our distillery has a beautiful Holstein pot still used in the production of our liqueurs. Using only the purest Australian wheat spirit, our liqueur showcases a clean and full-bodied palette, while capturing the exciting characteristics of our Australian native botanicals.

Zesty Limoncello

From a distillery located on the coast, who pride themselves with crafting exceptional award winning spirits inspired from their northern beaches coastline, it was a natural conclusion to craft a delicious Zesty Limoncello. True to its name this mouth-watering limoncello combines a traditional Italian recipe from the Amalfi coast with some of our favourite foraged Australian botanicals to create a signature zesty sherbet finish.

Using carefully selected large lemons with perfumed peel supplied from an orchard on the central coast, north of Sydney, we hand peel the lemons, being most particular to avoid the bitter pith. Infusion of the peel into the smooth grain spirit cannot be rushed. Citrus oils combine with the native botanical distillates of Lemon Aspen with its tart citrus flavour, like a blend of grapefruit and lime with a hint of honey and eucalyptus and Lemon Myrtle. Enjoy chilled, straight from the freezer as an after-dinner digestive, or over ice with soda.

Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur

Manly Spirits Cold Brew Coffee liqueur is a sassy bitter sweet complex character with an exquisite smooth dark side to be devoured. Using sustainably and responsibly sourced beans, distilled native botanicals, sea minerals infused into our smooth wheat vodka this coffee liqueur is for all those who respect coffee! Inspired by early morning surfs off the ‘Bower break’ where you can just be at one with marine nature finishing with an adrenalin hit from a good short black espresso to start the perfect day.

A collaboration between two northern beaches locals, Manly Spirits Co. & Seven Miles Coffee Roasters – passionate about coffee, spirits, native botanicals and what can be crafted with them.

Enjoy straight, on the rocks, or in a delicious Espresso Martini.

Margarita Cello

Much like Limoncello, we use only the finest hand-peeled citrus fruits. Margarita Cello makes the most of 3 different types – Lime, Lemon & Oranges. All Australian grown.

We infuse these citrus fruits for over 2 months. During this time, the vital citrus oils that make up the zesty zing of your margie will be extracted. We then blend with native botanical distillates of Lemon Aspen and Lemon Myrtle, as well as Rainforest lime 

Finally, we finish by using the remaining parts of the limes, with fresh lime juice for the final citrus kick. Enjoy straight, with soda or make a classic margie with tequila.
