Manly Beach & Village

Seven miles from Sydney, a thousand miles from care...

Manly, situated on the Northern Beaches of Sydney is a world famous Australian landmark. It is one of the most renowned beaches for surfing and is incredibly unique. On its own small peninsula, it’s bound by Sydney Harbour, the Sydney Harbour National Park, and the Pacific Ocean.
Manly beach was named by Capt. Arthur Phillip after the indigenous people living there writing: “Their confidence and manly behaviour made me give the name of Manly Cove to this place”.

Manly was one of the first seaside resorts to allow daylight swimming and surfing back in 1903.
Manly Beach is easily accessible via a short 30 minute Ferry ride from Sydney’s Circular Quay, followed by a casual stroll along the Manly Corso.
All of this natural beauty is complemented by 200 retail stores, 130 cafes restaurants, bars and eateries, 30 outdoor activities, plus 40 beaches and nature walks!
