Strawberry Vodka

Eating fruit is Manly . . . especially Vodka infused fruit. Today’s Manly Recipe:   S T R A W B E R R Y   V O D K A

  • 500g Strawberries
  • 1 cup Manly Spirits Vodka

  1. Poke holes in the strawberries with a fork. This allows them to soak up more vodka.
  2. Sterilise a litre jar by running it through the dishwasher or soaking in boiling water.
  3. Place the strawberries inside the jar.
  4. Pour the cup of vodka over the berries. Save the vodka bottle if you want to use it for the strawberry infused vodka.
  5. Refrigerate the jarred fruit for anytime from 1 to 24 hours. Check the strawberries after a few hours to see how strong they are and how much longer you may or may not want to soak them for.
  6. Open the jar and remove strawberries from the vodka using a spoon.
  7. Pour the vodka through a coffee filter or similar filter into a clean container. Strain the vodka through the filter to remove any seeds or other debris.
  8. You can store the berries for up to 3 days in the refrigerator, freeze them, or just use them right away!
