The new Amber Spiced Gin ties together “the distinct coastal and citrusy notes of Manly Spirits Co. gin, layered with an infusion of Campos cascara the dehydrated aromatic coffee cherry husks from the coffee plant.”
It’s the first limited release Christmas summer gin for Northern Beaches Artisan Distillers Manly Spirits Co., who’ve racked up an impressive number of awards over the past few years, including double gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for their Australian Dry Gin and Best Australian London Dry Gin at the World Gin Awards in 2020.
Featuring botanicals like Cascara (which is the dried Campos coffee husk from which the collab takes its key notes), vanilla pod, orange zest, finger lime, wattle seed, cardamom, mountain pepper leaf, and cinnamon, it’s destined to become a favourite for gin and coffee lovers alike.
The lush packaging features an artwork known as ‘The Drop’ by Australian artist, Craig Parnaby, which captures the essence of an Aussie summer: two surfers lost in a summer moment.
The Amber Spiced Gin is best served over ice or with a premium Indian tonic, topped off with orange peel. (But we reckon it’d be equally good splashed into an iced coffee on a hot summer evening.)
